Worm Brick

Worm Brick comes from observing weeds trying to grow through the gaps in the worm brick. This reflects the power of nature, which never stops, no matter what obstacles it faces.

From this concept, I designed a vase that opens up space for weeds to express themselves elegantly, without having to fight for space in the brick gaps anymore. This work becomes a conversation between humans and nature, prompting us to question our perspective on the small things around us.

However, Worm Brick is not just a decoration; it’s an invitation to look at weeds with a new perspective. Instead of seeing them as unwanted growth, try picking a small weed from the roadside that you pass by every day and place it in this vase. Let this small piece of nature enrich your everyday life.

Worm Brick, 2024, Ceramic, 12 x 6.5 x 2 cm.
